BLUEBONNET TIME IN TEXAS







It is a Texas thing! In the springtime these wild flowers known as Bluebonnets can be seen along highways and fields in central Texas. They are native to this state and are not found in the wild anywhere else. Texans are understandably proud of this unique flower and have named them the state flower.

The temperature and amount of rain affects the spring display and this year is a little light, but I did find this nice patch near Ennis. They smell fantastic and as you can see, Spanky was taken with them as well!
